Photo Journal: McCord Park & Lakefront Trail in Little Elm

I don’t know about you, but when it’s hot, sometimes a bike ride is a preferable way to adventure around the Dallas area because at least you get a little airflow! So, as a result of the recommendation of a friend, I pulled out my mountain bike and explored McCord Park and Lakefront Trail in Little Elm.

McCord Park hosts a disc golf course, children’s play area, dog park, and splash pad along with paved walking/biking trails. It connects with the Lakefront Trail and Cottonwood Branch Trail. The Lakefront Trail is a wide, gravel path following Lake Lewisville for about 4miles. We parked at the McCord Park splash pad and rode to Hula Hut and back. A few miles in, there is a fork in the path and turning right takes you to another series of paved trails.
